A slightly quirky pub close to countryside walks on the edge of Fordingbridge, an historic riverside town on the north west border of The New Forest. As well as having 4 en suite rooms, AJs is home to superchef Scott Bennett and probably the best Knickerbocker Glory on the planet.

Artists of the Month for July are Cathy and John Collins. Beautifully executed watercolours from Fordingbridge to Venice. 

We are now open all day from 9am on SATURDAYS for breakfast, elevenses, lunch, cream teas and dinner. AND........we now serve milkshakes lunchtimes (except Sunday) and all day Saturday. It will be a bit different on the 16th  - ie normal menu suspended, hog roast and barbeque instead.

Movie Monday. (kitchen closed) Starts 7.30. See FACEBOOK for upcoming film. 3rd Monday is given over to The Bookshop Boys who meet here for a relaxed jamming session. Come and join in or just watch and listen, it's a magical evening.

Thai Tuesday. Authentic menu in the evening devised by Scott and Thai ex colleague. Thai Tapas - £21.95 for 2 and Takeaway.

Wednesday Night Special. 2 or 3 of our main courses are reduced to £7.95. Our own cycling club - The AJ Wheelers - meet at 7pm on Wednesdays. Everyone welcome even if you are on holiday and fancy a ride. All draughts are £2 a pint from 9pm but when they're gone they're gone. 

Thursday Fun Quiz with music and free tapas. It's a sort of Family Fortunes meets Play Your Cards Right with live music from a solo act in between the questions AND there is FREE TAPAS for participants. You could win big money at the end of the evening with the Play Your Cards Right section. No intellect required!! Fishy Friday. Some very special fish dishes including our fabulous

sharing platter.
